Something's Gotta Give

This has been a crazy busy spring and it's been a little bit (a lot) difficult sometimes getting in all the workouts I like to do, but now the craziness just got a little crazier.  Some of my co-workers and I have been told we need another license, which means taking a big test.  We have until the middle of July to pass it, but I scheduled my test for mid-June because there is no way I want to spend the whole summer fretting about it.

But that means I have a lot of studying to do in the next couple of weeks, on top of my already heavy work load, and that means the roller skiing and weight lifting and trail running are just going to have to wait.  Martin tells me that my brain will do better if I go to Discovery Park every other day, and I know he's right, but realistically, there are only so many hours in the day, so many days in the week!  I figure if I can at least find the time to ride my bike to work a couple of days a week, that will keep my blood moving and my muscles from going completely to sleep.  Lucky for me, if you have to back away from training for a couple of weeks, this is a relatively good time of year to do it.  So I'll study hard and take my test and then, be so ready to get back on those roller skis and back in the mountains!
