Oksana Masters-The Rest of the Story
If you followed the winter Paralympics going on in Sochi these last couple of weeks, you know that sit-skier Oksana Masters won a silver in the 12k and a bronze in the 5k. And you might know that before she was a skier, she was an Olympic pairs rower. Coached by my friend Brad Lewis, himself a gold medal rower in the 1984 Olympics, she earned a bronze medal in the 2012 London Paralympics and was named 2012 female rower of the year, an honor that included able-bodied rowers.
